Honky Tonk Highway

. . . has been mentioned here before, relating to a particular DVD and CD of the arts and history of the area. Here's a link to what looks like an even better overview of the entirety of the Appalachian culture. Could be something to explore (check out the music files!) over a cold and wet weekend. No time, yet, to check it out in its entirety so am suggesting this blind. What I have seen so far looks superb - go get it!

Note: Even though The Tonker's interest is mainly cultural, the above image of a still in the mountains was just too hard to pass - all it needs is Robert Mitchum to wander into the scene and away we go!
