Benefit night . . .

As many may well be aware by now, there is to be a benefit night to lend some support to well-known Sydney country music personality, Trucker Bob, following the tragic death of his teenage daughter in a road accident in Victoria early this month.

The benefit will be held at the Cooks River Motor Boat Club, Holbeach Avenue, Tempe, on this coming Saturday (June 25) commencing at 5pm. $20 includes dinner, with all proceeds to Bob & family. For those unfamiliar with the Motor Boat Club, it's just around the corner from The Harp Hotel on Princes Highway, Tempe - just before you get to the Cooks River Bridge (if you're heading south-west - see map below). The night will include raffles and other fund-raising efforts with the main draw being the many Inner West bands performing:

Rob Luckey & The Lucky Bastards
Deadwood 76
Hogstomp
Kitty & The Alley Cats
Fat Dusty
Mary Heard
The Cartwrights
& and more!!!!

Drinks at club prices!

The Murray Hillbillies . . .

. . . are back at the Bald Faced Stag Hotel on the corner of Parramatta and Balmain Roads, Leichhardt, on the same night (Saturday June 25) commencing at 9pm. With a bit of good management, punters could make this a long night of great Inner West country music. The Hillbillies will be playing until at least 1 am.
